Βοηθάω means “I help” — a warm and practical verb to use in everyday Greek.

🔹 Present: Βοηθάω (voithao) – I help
➤ Βοηθάω τον φίλο μου. (Voithao ton filo mou.) – I help my friend.

🔹 Past: Βοήθησα (voithisa) – I helped
➤ Βοήθησα στο σπίτι. (Voithisa sto spiti.) – I helped at home.

🔹 Future: Θα βοηθήσω (tha voithiso) – I will help
➤ Θα βοηθήσω όσο μπορώ. (Tha voithiso oso boro.) – I’ll help as much as I can.

🌟 Fun Fact – The Ikariotikos Dance 💃
You may have heard of Ikaria — the island where people famously live well past 90. But did you know that the local dance, Ikariotikos, may be part of the secret?

🎵 It starts slow and steady, then gradually builds up in rhythm — just like life on the island.

Ikariotikos isn’t just a dance. It’s a celebration of joy, connection, and shared energy.

Locals dance it at weddings, festivals, and panigiria — always hand-in-hand, in a circle, with no stress, no rush, and lots of heart.

If you visit Ikaria in the summer, chances are you’ll be invited to dance it too. And trust me — you don’t need to know the steps. Just follow the rhythm… and the smiles.

Thanks again for being here and for letting me be part of your Greek journey.

Καλή εβδομάδα — sending you a bit of island spirit and plenty of good vibes 💙

P.S. Review of the Week – “I am loving it”

I learn language best by writing the words the way I hear them, and repeating them. That's exactly the way this program is set up! It's absolutely perfect for me.
