You were just in the room

You already know the hard part

You spent the last 60 minutes doing it — a real dialogue, out loud, in Greek. Foundations is that, every day, for 21 days. Nothing new to learn about how to study. You open the day's lesson and do it again.

The Foundations Method

Three questions every beginner gets stuck on

Foundations answers all three — the same way, every day.

1
What to study

The Daily Three

Revise yesterday's words. Practise today's conversation out loud. Learn ten new ones. That's the whole day. No grammar drills, no vocabulary lists you'll never use.

2
How long

10 / 10 / 10

Ten minutes on each. Half an hour and you're done. Short enough that you'll still do it on a Tuesday when you're tired — which is the only reason anyone finishes anything.

3
Where it sticks

The Notebook

Every new word goes into a notebook, by hand. Not an app. You write it, so you own it — and you have one place to revise from for the rest of your life.

What a day looks like

Day 4 · Age & Numbers

Day 4 · Age & Numbers
Πόσο χρονών είσαι;
Poso hronon ise?
How old are you?
  • 10 min · Revise — quiz yesterday's ten words, six answers, one correct
  • 10 min · Practise — watch today's dialogue, then say it out loud with the audio
  • 10 min · Learn — ten new words, written into your notebook by hand

Thirty minutes — ten, ten and ten. Then you close it and get on with your day.

A1 · Days 1–21

The 21 situations

Find the three that make you panic. Those are the three you'll have handled inside a month.

Day 1Meeting Someone

Say hello, give your name and ask for theirs.

Day 2Where Are You From?

Name your country and city, and ask where they're from.

Day 3]My Family

Talk about your partner, your kids, your parents and your brothers and sisters.

Day 4]Age & Numbers

Numbers 1–100, your own age, and asking someone theirs politely.

Day 5]My Morning

Waking up, coffee, breakfast, leaving the house — your morning in simple Greek.

Day 6]My Home

Name the rooms, say where you live and describe your place in a few lines.

Day 7]At a Café

Order coffee the way Greeks actually order it, and pay without switching to English.

Day 8]Eating & Drinking

Say what you like, what you don't, and what you feel like right now.

Day 9]Shopping for Clothes

Sizes, colours, prices, and asking to try something on.

Day 10]Asking for Directions

Left, right, straight ahead — and understanding the answer you get back.

Day 11]Public Transport

Metro, bus and taxi: tickets, stops and telling the driver where you're going.

Day 12]The Weather

Hot, cold, raining, windy — and the small talk Greeks start with it.

Day 13]At the Supermarket

Find what you need, ask where it is and ask how much it costs.

Day 14]Time & Days

Days of the week, telling the time, and asking when something opens.

Day 15]Free Time & Hobbies

Say what you do for fun and ask them what they do.

Day 16]At a Restaurant

Book a table, order a full meal and ask for the bill.

Day 17]How Are You Feeling?

Tired, happy, hungry, fine — and asking someone how they are and meaning it.

Day 18]Talking About Work

Say what you do, where you work and what your day is like.

Day 19]Making Plans

Suggest a time and a place, agree to it, or say you can't make it.

Day 20]Talking About Your Day

String it all together — morning to night, in one go.

Day 21]A Day in Athens 🇬🇷

Everything from the first twenty days, used across one real day out.

A2 · Its own 21 days

When you're ready to talk about your life

Nothing resets. Maria and George carry on, using everything from the first 21 days.

Day 1]The Weekend

Tell the story of your weekend from start to finish.

Day 2]A Busy Day at Work

Meetings, deadlines and deadlines missed — the vocabulary of a working day.

Day 3]Looking for an Apartment

Rent, rooms, floors and bills — and viewing a place without a translator.

Day 4]Describing Someone

Height, hair, character — describe a person so someone else recognises them.

Day 5]Talking About Feelings

Say how you actually feel, beyond "I'm fine".

Day 6]At the Doctor

Explain what's wrong, where it hurts and how long it's been going on.

Day 7]At the Pharmacy

Ask for what you need and understand the instructions you're given.

Day 8]Planning a Trip

Dates, tickets, islands, and sorting out who's coming.

Day 9]At the Airport

Check-in, baggage, gates and delays.

Day 10]Checking Into a Hotel

Your reservation, your room, and saying something's not right.

Day 11]At the Bank

Accounts, cards, cash and the paperwork that comes with them.

Day 12]Phone & Internet Problems

Explain what isn't working and get someone to fix it.

Day 13]Household Chores

Cooking, cleaning, washing up, laundry — the verbs you use every day at home.

Day 14]Invitations & Social Plans

Invite someone, accept, turn it down politely, or move it.

Day 15]Opinions & Preferences

Say what you think, what you'd rather do, and why.

Day 16]Making an Appointment

Book it, change it, cancel it — on the phone or in person.

Day 17]Habits & Frequency

Always, often, sometimes, never — how often you do things.

Day 18]My Neighbourhood

Describe where you live and what's around you.

Day 19]Problems at Home

Leaks, breakages and calling someone out to repair them.

Day 20]Talking About the Past

Tell someone what you did yesterday, last week, last summer.

Day 21]Making Future Plans

Say what you're going to do — tomorrow, this year, one day.

Not sure which one

Pick by how you feel, not by a label

A1Start from the beginning

I know little or no Greek. Maybe the alphabet, maybe kalimera.

Days 1–21. Nothing is assumed. You'll hold a short conversation by the end of week three.

A2Continue from the basics

I can order a coffee and say where I'm from — then I freeze.

Its own 21 days. Apartments, doctors, opinions, telling the story of your weekend.

Torn between them? Take A1 + A2 — €249 instead of €298 today, and a full month in the Greek Speaking Group instead of two weeks.

What you get when it opens

Everything, the moment it opens

  1. 21 Conversation ScriptsEvery dialogue written out — Greek, Greeklish, English. Print them or keep them on your phone.
  2. Everyday Vocabulary & PhrasesThe ten new words for every one of the 21 days, grouped by situation.
  3. 21 Daily QuizzesSix answers, one correct. Two minutes at the start of each day, on yesterday's words — so nothing you learn slips away.
  4. Listening PracticeEvery dialogue as audio, normal speed and slow. For the car, the walk, the kitchen.
  5. The 21-Day Study PlanA printable plan so you never open the course wondering what to do today.

Plus the five webinar bonuses above — the Greek Speaking Group, the PDF notebook, the onboarding call, the 48 templates and the free seat for a friend.

14 days. No questions.

When the course opens, go through the first week. Write the pages, say the words out loud. If it isn't the way you want to learn Greek, email me and I'll refund you — and you keep the study plan.

Before you ask

Questions

What does "pre-order" actually mean?

You're buying today at €149 and locking in the five bonuses. The course itself goes live Thursday 8 October 2026, 6pm Greek time — you'll get an email the moment it opens, and your 14 days start from then, not from today.

How is this different from the Greek Mastercourse?

The Mastercourse teaches you the whole language — speaking, grammar, vocabulary, the alphabet, the strategies. Foundations does one thing: 21 conversations, one a day, in the situations you actually find yourself in. If you own the Mastercourse, Foundations is the daily practice alongside it, not a replacement.

Can I still get the bonuses if I buy after the course opens?

No. The five bonuses are for the people who were in the webinar and decided today. The price does not change — it is €149 either way. What you lose is the group access, the onboarding call, the notebook, the templates and the free seat for a friend.

How does the free seat for a friend work?

After you pre-order, email support@prepareforgreece.com with your friend's name and email address. We'll set them up at the same level as you when the course opens.

How much time does it take?

Thirty minutes a day — ten minutes revising, ten practising out loud, ten learning new words. If you miss a day nothing breaks: the lessons wait for you and you have lifetime access.

I'm a complete beginner. Is A1 too advanced?

Day 1 starts at hello. Around 84% of the people in the webinar you just watched call themselves a beginner or complete beginner — this is built for exactly that room.

Is this a subscription?

No. One payment, once. €149 for a single level or €249 for both — you are never charged again, and you keep lifetime access to everything inside.

Do I need to be in Greece?

No. Most students aren't. The situations are the ones you'd meet on a visit or after a move — useful either way.

Thursday evening you could be on Day 1
